Software Engineer (Backend)

Main Responsibilities of Back-end Engineer

Writing clean, scalable & efficient code

Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
 

1. Building reusable code libraries for future use
2. Designing and implementing RESTful APIs
3. Optimizing the performance of applications for full-scale production deployments
4. Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents
5. Participating in code reviews
6. Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performances
    

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• You have prior experience as a back-end engineer.
• You are experienced with software engineering best practices such as design patterns, code reviews, unit and integration testing, etc.
• You have an in-depth understanding of data structures and other computer science fundamentals.
• You have good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
